Alexsandra Simoes is the Founder and Principal Attorney at Simoes Law, P.L.L.C in the county of Palm Beach. Mrs. Simoes represents clients in all areas of family law, including dissolution of marriage, alimony, time-sharing, parenting plans, child support, establishment of paternity, enforcement or modifications, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, same sex family services, distribution of marital assets and liabilities, and many other issues. Mrs. Simoes also handles immigration law matters focusing her practice in family-based petitions, cancellation of deportation, waivers and VAWA cases.

Attorney Alexsandra Simoes

Biography

Prior to earning her Juris Doctor’s degree in the United States, Mrs. Simoes worked as a paralegal and as a Financial and Operations Manager at Opportunity, Inc, the oldest charity in Palm Beach County. In 2016, Mrs. Simoes began attending  the St. Thomas University School of Law.  Her exceptional performance allowed her the opportunity to intern as a Judicial Assistant for the  Honorable Judge Michelle Towbin Singer at the Broward County Courthouse in the criminal division.  She has also volunteered at the Karnes Family Detention Center in Texas, assisting parents who were incarcerated and separated from their families who were  at risk for deportation without legal representation. Alexsandra’s experience in immigration continued as she worked at the St. Thomas University Immigration Clinic providing high-quality immigration services to the under-served community. She represented asylum seekers, battered spouses and children, and other non-citizens seeking immigration relief in Immigration Court. Alexsandra was recognized and awarded for her achievements and dedication by the Labor and Employment Section of the Florida Bar in 2018.
